Company description

Job description

You drive co-operation across functions and focuses on damages, sales error and quality problems thereby preventing costs to occur in the first place. Utilises the right methods for optimising the revenue from products that would otherwise not be possible to sell.

You contribute to the IKEA sustainability goals by giving products a second chance or through sustainable divestment of products where this is not possible.

  • To ensure Recovery is always a safe and secure environment for visitors and co-workers and that our property is safeguard and conscious of safety at all time in the store.
  • To proactively use all the information and tools available, to ensure a multidimensional approach to steering the business in order to achieve growth and sustained long term profitability with our customers in focus.
  • To work together with colleague and manager to contribute actively to the creation of the store business plan and converting the business plan goals into clear annual action plan within the recovery areas.
  • To work together with the Communication & Interior Design (Com&In) department by actively contributing and supporting the maximise commerciality in order to increase profitability according to the goal in your areas.
  • To co-operate across function to ensure everyone understand and contributes to the process with focus on prevention, revenue and sustainability.
  • To be a passionate leader who can bring business and people together. Inspire by the IKEA leadership capabilities and strive to continuously develop as a leader.
  • To ensure your team works proactively to optimise all recovery operations in the store. Contributing to the achievement of the store goals within profit & loss.
  • To ensure that all product quality issues in the store, or potential incidents, are reported through CASY.

Qualification
  • Extensive knowledge of functions in the store level and how they contribute to the Recovery process.
  • Good insights into business navigation with a deep understanding for how Recovery in the best way  contributes to the bottom line.
  • An understanding of the processes related to quality, sustainability, change management and process improvements within IKEA.
  • Integrity and the ability to establish relationships based on trust.
  • An understanding of change management and process improvements
  • The ability to relate work of Recovery to quality and sustainability.
  • A desire to question practices and the ability to look for different/ new ways of solving problems.
