Senior Product Owner

WHO YOU ARE

• Proven experience of previous Product Owner or similar role Minimum of 8 years of progressive and diverse experience in digital product development
• Demonstrable experience in working in an Agile or DevOps working set-up
• Strong business acumen and a strategic & commercial mind-set Knowledge and experience working with various technology platforms Experience working with and knowledge of the needs of customers or clients (internal or external)
• Ability to lead a cross-functional team through influence
• Proven analytical skills and experience making decisions based on hard and soft data Strong communication skills with business and technical stakeholders Strong team working and collaboration skills

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for maximizing the business results and customer value resulting from the development and deployment by making trade-off decisions as needed for the most complex digital products with highest impact which requires extensive experience and knowledge
• Work closely with the Product Manager in developing the product roadmap for the most complex and important products
• Ensure they have a good understanding of the product roadmap and vision as defined by the Product Manager to inform the creation and prioritization of the backlog
• Actively manage the digital product backlog including clearly expressing product backlog items and prioritizing items based on business goals and optimization of work in the agile team
• Involvement in sprint planning meetings to help provide clarity and elaborate features and user stories to help the team better understand the requirements and how success will be measured
• Define and deliver acceptance criteria and the ‘Definition of Done’ working collaboratively with the rest of the team
• Where needed work with customers to understand and qualify their needs and requirements, ensuring they are included and integrated into the product as needed
• Act as a subject matter expert for Product teams, providing insight, context and additional information as needed to help understanding of what is required
• Working collaboratively and coach other Product Owners & Managers across Digital to refine the backlog and identify cross journey dependencies
• Work cross-functional to ensure that the agile team has what is needs and remove blockers that prevent the agile team to maximize the delivery of digital products

ABOUT THIS WORK AREA

To prioritize, coordinate and manage the development and deployment of innovative digital products as well as ensuring that the development stay aligned with the set out business goals and KPI benefits.
To work collaboratively with other Product Owners and Managers to actively manage the backlog for products with high complexity and impact as well as working with chapter leads to ensure sufficient resources and functional expertise in the agile team
