About Wien Westbahnhof: In the heart of Vienna, the IKEA Westbahnhof store will answer the urban customers’ needs and provide an omni-channel shopping experience. The site is in a very attractive retail location, connected to the train station Vienna Westbahnhof. The store measures 18.000 m2 on 7 floors and the buildings host a hostel on the top two floors with direct connection to IKEA Food. The store is supported by a fully automated Warehouse Storage system within the building.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE:
- a profound education (security specialist) in the field of national employee protection, fire protection and security with at least 3-5 years of professional experience, preferably in a shopping center. - sound knowledge of safety standards, rules and regulations, valid for the different operating forms of a retail and logistics company, as well as its standards and norms in the area of occupational safety and fire protection - comprehensive knowledge of how risks in a business environment can be assessed and mitigated - proofed competences to establish a plan or framework for programs and work structures to meet the standards set by government laws and regulations. - ability to communicate confidently and clearly with various audiences both verbally and in writing in German and English.
'- ensure a safe and secure environment for co-worker, customers and suppliers through training, audits, inspections and follow up. Identify and mitigate health, safety and security risks using the IKEA risk management process. - accountable for investigation of internal and external incidents and recommending resolution and revision of routines as necessary. - be a key member to the Crisis Management Team. Ensure that Crisis Management trainings and ways of working are in place in accordance to the CMT working method and Country and Local CMT plans and protocols. - support and partner with the Management Team and functional responsibles to ensure that business is conducted in line with legal demands, our steering documents and working methods. - ensure to communicate and promote to all co-workers and managers to improve risk awareness

For this fulltime position we offer you a yearly gross salary starting from a minimum of 35.000 €. We are willing to pay significantly more depending on experience and qualification.
