Inter IKEA Systems (Core Business Franchise) owns the IKEA Concept and is the worldwide IKEA franchisor. We are specifically responsible for the IKEA strategic framework, ensuring the IKEA Concept is updated, relevant, implemented and followed-up – together with all IKEA trademark users.

Business Solution Area “Finance & Business Performance” ensures that our processes related to finance, business planning, portfolio management and business performance are supported by information technology today and in the future. The Business Solution Area ensures that the IKEA Finance & Business Performance solutions fit in the overall digital landscape in the business, in line with guiding frameworks (e.g. security, enterprise architecture, information management), and supported by solid IT operations and ways of working.

We are looking for a Solution Owner to join us in the Finance & Business Performance solution area, being responsible for solutions in the area of Business Information. Part of the Business Information landscape is a recently renewed Reporting & Analytics platform, with a self-service BI ecosystem for everyone in IKEA.
As a Solution Owner you are responsible to ensure that the users of the solution have a relevant, user friendly and reliable solution that helps them achieve their business objectives. This means that you will – for one or more solutions related to Business Information - have an end-to-end solution accountability where you will work with business development, lifecycle management and operations for the assigned solutions.
You establish a continuous improvement plan for your solution(s) and manage the implementation via change request and release management. In these plans you manage budget for the assigned solution(s), provide budget input to the Solution Area and work with forecast and follow-up. As required you will take part and contribute in projects together with your business partners. A strong cooperation with internal stakeholders and external IT vendors, including software providers, is needed and in this you also represent the users, managing expectations and relationships with the business.
You take a direct responsibility for the business support connected to your solutions including access handling, user education, troubleshooting, operation of solutions and service level fulfilment.

As a solution owner you have a deep understanding of the business objectives in the field of Finance & Business performance, and how they can be enabled by technology. Your good understanding of the opportunities, and limitations, of technology and business process design helps you to translate complex user requirements into workable BI solutions (user interface and back-end). You work with technology as a business tool and translate requirements into solutions, balancing user experience, business needs and IT constraints.
With your excellent interpersonal skills you are able to listen to find the exact need, make complex situations simple and understood. By coaching and facilitating you will make sure the users will embrace the solutions.
The position is for 40 hours per week and is based in Delft (The Netherlands).
