The focus in our digitalization of marketing communication is to enable effective planning, creation and distribution of impactful content across all channels and markets, all while enabling collaboration with partners and external parties across the globe.
To enable our transformation we are now looking for Digital Project leaders s to join our Digital transformation team within Marketing & Communication.
We are looking for two new digital project leaders to join our global Marketing & Communication Digital transformation team. We are looking for you who loves to plan projects, complete tasks and what really drives you is to deliver results. We believe that you have solid experience in project management of digital initiatives, preferable in the Martech field, and have been working in a similar role for at least a few years. You are solid in your leadership capabilities and have successfully implemented digital marketing solutions in areas such as content management, content planning and digital marketing. This unique and critical role will contribute to the execution of the strategic roadmap for IKEAs digital transformation journey.
Your assignment will include:
Provide overall direction and technical, process or analytical guidance to project teams that typically span multiple units and may also include outside suppliers/vendors.
Plan, manage and allocate resources to ensure successful, high quality execution and delivery within defined scope.
Ensure delivery of our digital initiatives and projects
Communicate effectively with cross-functional partners and stakeholders as needed on status, risks and accomplishments to ensure alignment with the overall project goals.
Adhere to technology governance policies and processes.
Provide leadership and decision making support by establishing project governance.
Establish project plan and initiate project mobilization by confirming project scope, estimate resources, roles and responsibilities.
Perform project reporting including regular stakeholder status reports and overall performance of the project and project completion documentation.
You are passionate about delivering value and being at the leading edge of technology and digital innovation. You appreciate getting things done and improving how things are done. Your motivation comes from continuous learning and find energy by working both independently and interdependently and cross functions. You are motivated to work agile and being open to the change.
Several years of experience in team leadership as well as managing projects, preferable in the Martech or Software development field.
Structured and well organized
Ability to adapt your communication to all layers of an enterprise organisation with strong presentation and writing skills.
Comfortable with working in agile methodologies as well as project management frameworks such as PMI
Hands-on, having a proactive approach and driven by results.
A self-motivated team-player with an open ‘can-do’ attitude and high levels of energy and motivation.
Good communication and networking skills, being able to interact and form strong partnerships and relationships.
University degree in Information Management, Computer Science or similar education.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
