About the job
For the Digital team, we are looking for an enthusiast who can help us in establishing E-Commerce in the Philippines and securing the IKEA brand and our overall vision of “creating a better everyday life for the many people” by taking the lead to build the website’s digital presence, strengthen the search engine ranking and monitor SEO performance to secure healthy organic traffic & contribute to sales.
Provide the plan, develop and execute the SEO strategy as well as define the key performance indicators.
Implement on keyword research and analysis, onsite optimisation and technical audits.
Lead tactical SEO activities, guide the Editors on the implementation and support them on the copywriting.
Use various tools to create reports (Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Google Tag Manager or other SEO tools).
Provide insights and recommendations and suggest actionable solutions to improve search engine crawlability and indexation.
Lead the parterniship with the external SEO agency to ensure SEO performance with local relevance.
Work closely with the marketing team to align SEO strategy with SEM and other marketing directions.
The position will be based in Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya. Malaysia.
Solid knowledge of the Philippines market. Speaking local languages is a plus.
Prior working experience in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
Have a strong sense of ownership.
Communicate in an open, clear and inspiring way with different stakeholders.
Ability to make the decision and solve problems.
Good analytical skills and attention to details.
Excellent in prioritisation, planning and organising skills
Experience in keyword research analysis to optimise onsite optimisation.
Understand the search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
Have knowledge of SEO tools (SEMRush, Screaming Frog, ahrefs.com or similar).
Have knowledge of website tools (Google Analytics, Data Studio, Google console).
