ABOUT YOU
As a person you are passionate about people and you have strong engagement and commitment to develop the business and deliver business results by optimising performance through people. You act as an ambassador for the IKEA culture and values and you enjoy working in a vibrant and changing multi-dimensional environment.

You know how to implement plans, set budgets and goals (with focus on tactical and operational level). You understand learning needs and implement learning delivery methods, materials and competence model, which support the talent management needs of IKEA and meet the competence development needs of the co-workers.
You keep focus how to systematically create, capture, share, manage and utilise knowledge within IKEA and between co-workers.

You accomplish goals, complete tasks and achieve results with attention to detail. You know how to work independently, take own initiatives and responsibility. You express ideas and opinions effectively in verbal and written communication.

For this role we believe you have minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience, minimum 1 year of experience in Leadership/Competence development and experience from a global matrix organisation and/or participating in global projects.

ABOUT THE JOB
In the role as Leadership & Competence Specialist, you contribute to an efficient, effective and consistent execution of Competence & Leadership development solutions to ensure delivery on business targets, while securing a great customer and co-worker experience.

You will:
  • Contribute to ensuring that global tools and learning offers are used: keeping country competence and leadership development offer up-to-date, and support coordination of all development of learning solutions from People & Culture organisation
  • Collaborate with competence specialists to ensure key capability building goals translate to learning curriculum, as well as coordinating with other functions to develop country specific solutions
  • Support execution of country training calendar for both leadership and competence development including securing available and competent facilitators
  • Support in implementation of global leadership development program portfolio by coordinating all competence needs within country organisation
  • Use digital tools and systems that support an efficient and accurate Competence Management process
  • Network with stakeholders across the country organisation to best understand and support delivery of their Leadership & Competence development solution needs
  • Collaborate with the People & Culture Market Area Teams to collect Unit competence needs and to ensure a smooth learning delivery process
  • Facilitate trainings and workshops – both virtually and face-to-face
